She has worked in a business advisory role for several Government-funded organisations, building expertise in business planning, coaching, business development and strategy.
This experience plus her insolvency skill set led her to founding The Insolvency Company alongside Gareth, growing it into a thriving business.
Stephanie enjoys getting to know her clients’ stories, and using these relationships as a platform for new ideas that can help their businesses become successful.
Away from work, Stephanie can often be found on the paddleboard or doing various other water sports with her four children and her dog! She also has a keen interest in holistic practices, including using energy for relaxation and wellbeing.
Stephanie is also qualified to teach Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which helps people to set and achieve goals, and improve their motivation and communication.
Gareth’s career started in debt recovery, where he started to work his way up, gaining qualifications in accountancy and insolvency in the process.

Craig initially worked in personal insolvency, working as a Customer Service Adviser for a large debt management company in 2000.
He moved into corporate insolvency in 2007 when he assisted with the formation of a boutique insolvency practice. He then moved onto nationwide practice in 2015, dealing with a mixture of personal and corporate cases, before working at a smaller practice in 2021.
During his career, Craig has consistently worked on CVL’s and has a particular interest in the manufacturing and care sectors.
As Assistant Manager, Craig provides initial advice to directors and individuals on their financial circumstances, working on a caseload of predominantly liquidations and some administrations. Craig also provides guidance and training to the more junior members of the team.
Paul joined us in 2021 and brings over 30 years of experience in both personal and corporate insolvency procedures with him. He initially trained at The Insolvency Service in London before joining a mid-tier insolvency practice.
During his career, Paul has worked at firms of various sizes, including a Big Four firm in 1991, dealing mainly with insolvent liquidations and bankruptcies.
In his role as Senior Manager, Paul helps clients deal with bankruptcy, IVAs, CVLs, MVLs and Compulsory Winding Up orders. He also advises clients on debt management and cash flow in order to avoid formal insolvency proceedings.
In his spare time, Paul likes to play golf and watch rugby. He also enjoys live music.
Dulcimer has worked in the insolvency industry since 2021 and joined The Insolvency Company in 2024. Based in the Swindon office, she supports senior team members across a wide range of responsibilities and enjoys the people-focused nature of insolvency work.
Before beginning her career in insolvency, Dulcimer studied Classics and Ancient History at the University of Reading, with a focus on language, gender studies and complex systems analysis. After completing her Masters, she gained experience at Shaw Gibbs and then at Monahans before joining the team.
Dulcimer works across member’s voluntary liquidations, creditor’s voluntary liquidations and compulsory liquidations. She particularly values getting to know clients and learning about their businesses, helping them through what can often be a difficult time. She enjoys the balance of law and accounting that insolvency offers, and the focus on people’s stories rather than just the numbers.
Outside of work, Dulcimer loves exploring the outdoors with her dogs and performing with her band.
